GBH himself once implied that caffeine should be avoided. It wasn't straight up "the prophet hath said" but he doesn't have to be direct with many members. It was enough for my husband and I to give it up for a spell. "Eh, we don't need it anyway right?" we said. which is, of course, code for "Don't get it, but whatever. Follow the prophet."

And yanno the energy drink thing was in the Ensign not too long ago.

Laaaame.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10268689890561878413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8840695227917041221.post-87863771947488286202010-08-17T12:31:57.212-05:002010-08-17T12:31:57.212-05:00Thanks, Aprillium! Thanks, Aprillium!Leahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08129509609170344883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8840695227917041221.post-41071824846389707872010-08-17T12:28:43.936-05:002010-08-17T12:28:43.936-05:00Or Energy drinks....:D Thanks for the video, very ...Or Energy drinks....:D Thanks for the video, very interesting and good to know!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16620999018026605884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8840695227917041221.post-87920157715911104972010-08-17T10:54:47.909-05:002010-08-17T10:54:47.909-05:00Thanks, Lisa!

Iced is totally fine.

I'm pretty sure that's not what the church means--they're far too strict for that kind of allowance, slippery slope and all--but it always makes me giggle. Everyone's interpretation. Personally I encourage it.

I also giggled a LOT when I finally read the WoW in detail and discovered the allowance for beer.

But that's not right, either. Obvs the Lord meant some other mild barley drink.

So glad we have those prophets to sort out what the Lord says. He's so confusing sometimes, esp when he's not or just says nonsensical things like "no hot drinks."

Dug the video, btw. Thanks for sharing.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10268689890561878413noreply@blogger.com
